Craigbank Nursery Welcomes Artist Kyle Blain for Creative Workshop

This morning was very special as I spent time at Craigbank Nursery. I was immediately welcomed with curiosity and creativity! The children there have been learning about my artwork, and I had the incredible honor of being their "Artist of the Month."

Artist of the month!

The visit was very fun! We gathered around to paint, drawing inspiration from my own pieces. The children’s enthusiasm was contagious as we created many things, from some magic cats to a “spider bus”. It was a joy to see their interpretations of what I’ve been working on!

We painted Lion, Monkeys, Fish and even Super Mario, based off my original paintings!

The children had been brainstorming and throughout asked insightful questions about my work. They wanted to know about my creative process, the stories behind my paintings, and what inspires me as an artist. Answering their questions was a delightful experience, as it allowed me to share my passion and perhaps inspire the next generation of artists.

They have definitely inspired me!
