Kyle Blain Art Exhibition at Sterling Mills

That's a wrap on my biggest solo Exhibition to date! Huge thanks to everyone who attended and helped spread the word—it's incredibly appreciated!

Being able to host this event was truly an unforgettable experience, and I'm very grateful to Affinity Sterling Mills Outlet Shopping for their generosity in providing the space and for being so helpful!

The exhibition opened on Friday, May 3rd and drew hundreds of interested people after what was a busy weekend. It was mobbed, genuinely. There was at least a couple hundred people over the course of the 6 days, up to 500 I’d say!

There was a great mix of people visiting specifically to see my works, along with shoppers just passing by and popping in, with positive feedback from all. Since my music-inspired works, I have branched out to include themes of pop culture and even animals. To purchase at the event, I had original paintings, prints, clothing, and accessories featuring my art, and even slip mats for vinyl record players.

My featured music-inspired artwork first blossomed during my advanced higher art studies and continued into lockdown. Since then, I've been growing as an artist and have showcased my work in London this year. However, I was incredibly happy to be back on home turf for a second time, with a chance to showcase my work over several days. London was quite big and unfamiliar so it was nice to be back in a place I’ve visited all my life, Sterling Mills.

I was ecstatic to have sold seven original paintings over the weekend, including a highland cow painting, one of the Joker, a Jimi Hendrix piece, my lion piece, my stag and one from the show Adventure Time, in what is a good mix of the themes I enjoy working with.

My Lion piece

I was happy to see familiar faces after being stuck in the studio for some weeks, putting the show together and improving as an artist from piece to piece. I'm thankful for all the support that’s been shown; it’s been really good.

I’m now back into hiding again, working on the next chapter!

Thanks for all the support!

I got interviewed about the exhibition, watch it here!
