Kyle Blain Art Exhibition At Sunnyside Primary

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Sunnyside Primary School on the 30th of August, 2024, for an exhibition, and I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone there for having me! It was such a rewarding experience to share my work with the students and to see their curiosity and excitement come to life as they asked so many thoughtful questions. Engaging with young, creative minds is always a highlight for me, and that day was no exception.

One of the things that stood out to me during the visit was how interested the children were in the process of making art. They were eager to learn about the steps I take to create my paintings and were genuinely amazed at how long each piece takes on average. Their fascination with the time and effort involved in art-making was inspiring, and it was heartwarming to hear how many of them were excited to go back to class and start drawing. They were also curious about why I chose to become an artist, and I shared with them that, I wasn’t particularly strong in subjects like maths or science so I sort of fell into it, but art has always been something I truly enjoy. It’s that passion for creating that led me to pursue art as a career.

If you’re interested in seeing more of my artwork or even owning a piece for yourself, be sure to visit my website at www.kyleblainart.com. There, you can explore my collection, find out about upcoming exhibitions, and even commission your own custom piece. You can also follow me on Instagram and TikTok @kyleblain_art to stay updated on my latest projects and get a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process.

A special shoutout goes to one very talented young artist who completely made my day. After seeing my MewTwo pixel art painting, they were inspired to create not one, but two incredible drawings! Seeing how my work can spark creativity in others is one of the most fulfilling aspects of being an artist. It reminds me of why I do what I do and why art is such a powerful form of expression.

Thank you again, Sunnyside Primary, for a day filled with the joy of sharing art. I’m looking forward to next time!
